This training  will educate local volunteer personnel, to appropriately identify severe weather for the purpose of advising the National Weather Service Officials of impending dangers from Thunderstorms, Tornadoes, Flooding, as well as damage caused by such storms. Training is available at no cost to New York and Pennsylvania  residents interested in becoming part of our severe weather spotter's network. Amateur radio operators and cell phone owners are encouraged to participate.
